Carla Gibson

Chair

Carla Gibson has been politically active since the late 1980s. She has volunteered with the National Organization for Women (NOW), PFLAG, the National Abortion & Reproductive Rights Action League (NARAL), and Planned Parenthood.

Megan Richie

Vice Chair

Megan is a a passionate advocate for LGBTQ+ inclusion and social equity in Cowlitz County. She is involved in community organizations such as Cowlitz County Democratic Women, Lower Columbia PFLAG, Rainbow Community of Longview, RYG, and Radical Love Meal Share. Megan attends local events, engaged with community leaders, elected officials, and works to ensure all voices are part of community discussions.

Chris Carlson

Treasurer

Chris Carlson has spent a lifetime standing up for and with women. She is the current Chair of the Cowlitz County Democrats, and treasurer to the 19th LD. She spends her time between politics spending time with her favorite person who happens to be her husband.

Lori Pressley

Communications

Lori is a wife, mother of 4, and a small business owner here in Cowlitz County. She is vice chair of the Cowlitz County Democrats, and lead organizer for Cowlitz County 50501. Originally from Florida, Lori moved to Georgia at 9 and to Washington in 2015. Locally known for prolific activism and her infectious laugh.

Susan Johnson

Secretary

Susan was a registered nurse and a lawyer, now retired. She is a lifelong Democrat, late of the Texas “Stonewall Democrats.” She is happy to now be in a place with many like-minded people.
